RHH accepts this trade to improve our rotation and bullpen with a lost cause on the side(Shaw). Pitt has been going down the sellers path, and we announced we were deadline buyers so after a little back and forth the deal was struck.

Even though these guys might fall under straight rentals for us(because of salaries/keepers), we felt it is worth it to make a run at a title, they don't come around all the time!! Shaw is probably a straight throw away, but you never know if he could get it together he could stick around.

We never like to part with proven power hitters, not to mention 3 pitchers all 28 and under with a ton of potential, but to make the deal you have to do it sometimes. Good luck to them on Pitt, he will most likely be keeping them a long time with their low salaries.

I'm in sell mode right now. Building for next year and have been selling now for a keeper team for next. Gallo, Osuna, Bellinger, Verdugo, and Renfroe is a very talented outfield rotation. With Gerrit Cole as my ace and adding Tallion who is also an ace when healthy with the lineup I've built up and Two aces going into next year from the start, I like my teams chances next year.

Committee Official ruling on POP - RHH Trade - Unanimous Decision Trade is allowed

The committee has looked over the trade and has come to this decision based on the fact that it is a deadline trade in a keeper league.

Quote from the committee - "Hobbs is the winner on the trade now, but Buehler and Hader look clearly like rentals due to salary crunch. Pitt gets proven assets with some youngster that have some great potential."
