RHB agrees to this trade to bring in TOP PROSPECT JASSON DOMINGUEZ!!! We feel he is going to be a MONSTER!! We were kicking ourselves when he was taken in the draft, we thought we could wait a little longer to take him, and you know how that usually works out. This way we are actually paying for him with players and money, but we feel he will be well worth it. We also picked up two more picks for our team, which are always valuable. Bregman is a monster in his own right, but we weren't 100% sure if we could fit his whole salary so it made sense to move him, while eating half to make the deal possible. Tucker is a tough one to give up too given the cheap salary and options, but we feel Dominguez will be worth more in the long run. We parted with some cap space to seal the deal, which we can look to make up in another deal down the road. Thank you MLD for the swift and easy negotiations. Nice doing business with you!

Not excited about giving up Dominguez, who I also think is going to be a monster. But Bregman at virtually half price was too much to pass up. Gaining a top hitter without having to take on his entire salary puts me in a position to try and win now. Tucker has oozed potential throughout his minor league career. When he takes that to the major league level I now have a cheap OF. Given the risk with all prospects, it seemed like a good chance to make a run at the championship this year.
After acquiring a 2nd round pick in a previous deal, I felt I could afford to give up the later picks.
The 12 year old in me also was intrigued by being involved in the first ever trade with an exchange of salary. You might make more deals later on. Even better deals. But this deal will always be the first one.
